Wood pyrolysis boilers, wood pyrolizers or more commonly know wood log gasification boilers are a type of modern solid fuel central heating boiler designed to burn wood super efficiently and at a very high temperature usually around 500 deg Celsius. 

Biomass gasification boilers are a manually loaded boilers burning biomass fuel like seasoned wood, logs and wood shavings using pyrolysis process. 

Pyrolysis process when applied to burning wood, is a log degradation using high temperature in to a more combustible fuel in this instance a combustible gas, 

Gasification boilers, to maintain their burn efficiency and long machine life span, should only be used to burn seasoned leaf wood with less than 18% moisture content.

A buffer tank or thermal storage tank must be used in conjunction with these boilers.
