The following video is showing an indirect thermal store fitted with heat exchanger coil.
The coil can be used either to radiate heat in to the water mass or with the water mass being hot, heat up cold water put through the coil.
For example, if the buffer tank has mass of water sitting at 60 deg C and cold water in through the coil is at 10 deg C, then the water exiting the coil will be heated to 40+ deg C.
